Promotion and champion rules

In Denmark we need 8 clean runs in grade 1 to be promoted to grade 2 – of these 8 legs at least 4 must be achieved in agility class – until you have achieved these 8 legs in total, you must run in grade 1 in both agility and jumpers classes.

To be promoted to grade 3 you need 6 clean runs where at least 3 must be from agility runs and you must be placed in the top 20% (if there are 10 dogs in total the top two clean runs will get a qualifying leg). Until you have achieved these 6 legs in total, you must run in grade 2 in both agility and jumpers classes

To achieve a certificate in grade 3 you must be the best non-champion with a clean run (if you finish second in class and the winner is a champion you will get the certificate) – once you have gained three certificates in either agility or jumping you have achieved the champion title – hence, you can achieve a Jumpers Champion and Agility Champion title 🏆
